Documentation for v1.08 is available here and if you need any help using Awesomium, feel free to post in the forum!

Here’s a summary of what’s gone in since v1.01:

  • Updated to Chromium r11619
  • Added experimental Flash support for Mac OSX*
  • Added the ability to load URLs and execute Javascript in specific frames
  • Added a navigation controller (can now go back/forward in page history)
  • Made it so i-frames with a prefix of “OIFW_” are prevented from “breaking out” of their respective frames
  • Made it so links with target=”_blank” are opened in the calling frame (were previously ignored)
  • Modified WebViewListener to be more verbose about which frames certain events originated from as well as added notification for hovering over target URLs
  • Modified WebView::injectMouseWheel to scroll by pixel amounts
  • Resolved instability when calling WebView::setProperty and WebView::executeJavascript at high rates
  • Fixed Flash transparency (wmode=”transparent” was previously ignored)
  • Fixed crash upon usage of clipboard-related functions (cut, copy, paste)
  • Fixed crash upon activating Street View of Google Maps

* About the experimental Flash support for Mac OSX, you should be aware that you should call WebCore::pause right before handling the message loop in your main thread (usually via SDL_PollEvents) and immediately call WebCore::resume after. Even with this workaround, support is still not perfect at this time (crashes are rare but may occur) and I’ve still yet to add support for keyboard/mouse input.

Enjoy~!

Thanks so much for awesomium. Im on OS X had have it working fairly well, except for the experimental flash support, i get crashes, even if I use the pause and resume workaround. I was wondering if you had any more pointers regarding this workaround?

Thanks!
