EVE Online has just announced on their developer blog that they will be using Awesomium in their new in-game web-browser, code-named “Moondoggie”! You can read all about it here!
I’m really excited about this new development and am overjoyed at the prospect of Awesomium reaching all the users in the EVE Online universe!

This is going to be so sweet. The posibilities for integration between out of game tools and in game action are mindbogling. Soo looking forward to this! There are a few security issues that need looked into though.

As a developer of In-Game Browser Utilities for Eve, the decision to use Awesomium was one of the best decisions they ever made. Now thanks to your hard work, Eve has implemented a full-featured browser that I can actually develop decent browser utilities for. Javascript and JQuery inside Eve-Online, check and check!!! THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR EFFORTS!!!!
